At the age of 13 Alex got an evening job as a gardner for a local couple. where he remained for 4 years. After leaving school he started work with one of the areas best arborist companies. He worked as an apprecntice going on further corses to gain accreditation. Working for this company for 5 years he left to start up "Auckland Tree Services" after 6 months he felt the urge to challenge himself (and escape the british weather) and moved out to australia for a year where he worked for the australian government auditing tree's this included detailing genus, age, size, health and general condition then leading a team to carry out work if nesserssary. upon returning to the uk a new company vehicle was purchase as well as other new professional equpitment and Auckland tree service was back up and running. alex carries out many local jobs each week for homes and business' alike directly but alex are often sought after and are being used by local companies for jobs where only the best will do
Alex is highly qualified, well trained and experience and is planning on returning to merrist wood to further his credentials with a
Arboriculture ABC Level 4 Diploma.
and is also in the process of becoming a member of the Arboricultural Association
